On the Spectrum of n Quasigroups with Given Conjugate Invariant Subgroup

چکیده
We show in this paper that for any group G of permutations of an (n + 1) set, any composite q > (n + 1)’ is the order of an n quasigroup Q whose conjugate invariant subgroup is precisely G. If y1 is a positive integer, and X is a finite set of cardinality IX/ = q, we say that Q is an n quasigroup on X of order q if Q is a (4”) X (n $ 1) array, with entries from X, with the property that each of the y1 f 1 qn x n subarrays of Q consists of q” distinct rows. Thus each of the q” possible n tuples with entries from X occurs exactly once as a row in such a subarray. We consider two n quasigroups on X equivalent if a permutation of the rows of one produces the other. If Q is an n quasigroup on X, we denote by r(Q) the set of permutations of the columns of Q which produce an array equivalent to Q. Evidently, r(Q) is a subgroup of the symmetric group S of permutations of (0, l,..., n}. We call T(Q) the conjugate invariant subgroup of Q. These have been studied previously (see, for example, [6, 71). For each subgroup G of S, we define A(G), the spectrum of G1 to be the set of all positive integers q for which there exists an it quasigroup Q of order q with r(Q) = G. We are concerned here with the following:

Basic relation between numerical range and Davis-Wielandt shell of an operator $A$ acting on a Hilbert space with orthonormal basis $xi={e_{i}|i in I}$ and its conjugate $bar{A}$ which is introduced in this paper are obtained. The results are used to study the relation between point spectrum, approximate spectrum and residual spectrum of $A$ and $bar{A}$. A necessary and sufficient condition fo...
متن کاملResults on Engel Fuzzy Subgroups
In the classical group theory there is an open question: Is every torsion free n-Engel group (for n ≥ 4), nilpotent?. To answer the question, Traustason [11] showed that with some additional conditions all 4-Engel groups are locally nilpotent. Here, we gave some partial answer to this question on Engel fuzzy subgroups. We show that if μ is a normal 4-Engel fuzzy subgroup of ...
متن کاملA New RSTB Invariant Image Template Matching Based on Log-Spectrum and Modified ICA
Template matching is a widely used technique in many of image processing and machine vision applications. In this paper we propose a new as well as a fast and reliable template matching algorithm which is invariant to Rotation, Scale, Translation and Brightness (RSTB) changes. For this purpose, we adopt the idea of ring projection transform (RPT) of image. In the proposed algorithm, two novel s...
متن کاملGlobal conjugate gradient method for solving large general Sylvester matrix equation
In this paper, an iterative method is proposed for solving large general Sylvester matrix equation $AXB+CXD = E$, where $A in R^{ntimes n}$ , $C in R^{ntimes n}$ , $B in R^{stimes s}$ and $D in R^{stimes s}$ are given matrices and $X in R^{stimes s}$ is the unknown matrix. We present a global conjugate gradient (GL-CG) algo- rithm for solving linear system of equations with multiple right-han...
متن کاملA graph-theoretic approach to quasigroup cycle numbers
Norton and Stein associated a number with each idempotent quasigroup or diagonalized Latin square of given finite order n, showing that it is congruent mod 2 to the triangular number T (n). In this paper, we use a graph-theoretic approach to extend their invariant to an arbitrary finite quasigroup. We call it the cycle number, and identify it as the number of connected components in a certain g...
